Overview
Description
A distinctive 1969 Sunbeam Rapier Fastback, finished in white with a contrasting black roof and black side detailing. A great example of Rootes Group styling from the late 1960s, combining classic British looks with a practical four-seat fastback body.
This example presents as an ideal usable classic or improvement project, retaining plenty of period character throughout. The interior features the traditional dashboard layout with Smiths-style instrumentation, while externally the car benefits from its distinctive quad-headlamp front end, chrome brightwork and period alloy wheels.
The engine bay appears largely period in appearance, and the odometer is displaying approximately 30,223 miles. Given the age of the vehicle, mileage should not be considered warranted unless supported by documentation.
An increasingly uncommon British classic and an interesting opportunity for an enthusiast looking for a Rapier to enjoy, preserve or further improve.
